SANAA, July 08 (YPA) – Member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, Mohammed Al-Fareh, has commented on the abduction of prominent tribal figure Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed Al-Zaidi at the Sarafit border crossing between Yemen and Oman.
“Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Zaidi is a paramount sheikh of the Juhm tribe, a senior leader among the Khawlan and Marib tribes, and a prominent national figure known for mediating Yemeni disputes,” Mohammed Al-Farah wrote on X.
Al-Farah emphasized that Al-Zaidi holds no political or military position in Sanaa, condemning what he called “the kidnapping by the bandits loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Mahra.
He praised Al-Zaidi’s patriotic stances, particularly his support for Gaza and opposition to Zionist-American aggression, stressing that these positions don’t justify his arrest by pro-coalition government forces.
