France: We intercepted Iranian drones heading towards “Israel”

SANAA, June 26 (YPA) – French Defense Minister, Sébastien Lacornu, announced that the French army participated in the interception of Iranian drones launched towards Israel, in the days before the recent ceasefire in the region.

Lacornu said in a press statement: “I confirm that the French army intercepted less than ten drones in recent days, during various operations carried out by the Islamic Republic against Israel.”

He explained that some of these drones were intercepted by air defense systems, while others were shot down by French fighter jets.
