US confirms missile strike on Al-Udeid Base in Qatar

DOHA, June 23 (YPA) – An American defense official confirmed that Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar was attacked with short- and medium-range ballistic missiles.

Al Jazeera quoted the US official as saying that the attack on Al-Udeid Base was launched from Iran. No casualties have been recorded so far, according to his statement.

Earlier, the Iranian armed forces announced the launch of six missiles at the American Al-Udeid Base in Qatar, in response to the US attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
