TEHRAN, June 11 (YPA) – Sensitive documents on Israel’s nuclear program, which Tehran said its intelligence managed to obtain, reveal direct cooperation between Tel Aviv and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) against Iran, Iran’s Fars news agency reported, citing informed sources.
“These documents clearly show that instead of playing a neutral role, the IAEA has become an instrument serving the objectives of the Zionist regime,” the sources said.
According to Fars, the IAEA also allegedly disclosed to Israel the names of Iranian nuclear scientists, who were later assassinated in sabotage attacks.
The documents, according to the sources, revealed that official and confidential messages from Iran to the IAEA containing sensitive information were delivered to Israeli intelligence agencies through secret channels.
Previously, Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib unveiled the trove of secret “Israeli” documents the country has obtained are related to the occupying entity’s nuclear facilities and will enhance Iran’s offensive capabilities.
“The documents we obtained from the Zionist entity relate to information about their nuclear facilities,” Khatib told the IRIB News on Sunday, a day after sources familiar with the matter broke the news.
He affirmed that these documents and other strategic records of the entity will enhance the country’s offensive capabilities.
