In video: Armed clashes erupt during Shabwa Eid al-Adha prayers

SHABWA, June 07 (YPA) – Armed clashes erupted on Friday during Eid al-Adha prayers in Shabwa province, leaving one dead and another wounded.

Sources familiar with the matter said the clashes broke out among gunmen from the Barsin tribes in the Yashbam area of As Said district.

The sources indicated that a young man, Mohammed Ahmed Awad Barsin, was killed during the clashes, adding that Indicating that the incident was due to a tribal feud between the Barsin tribal.

This comes amid the ongoing security chaos that has been plagued Shabwa’s districts since the beginning of 2016.
