Sanaa announces new initiative to reopen Sanaa-Aden Road

SANAA, June 02 (YPA) -Mohammed Muftah, Deputy Prime Minister of Sanaa-based government, carried out an inspection tour on Monday to the Dhamt-Marris-Qa’atabah Road—a vital artery in the central region of Dhalea province.

During the visit, he announced a new initiative to reopen the Al-Rahidah-Karsh Road, a key route connecting the capital, Sana’a, with the southern port city of Aden.

He pledged to “work diligently to repair and maintain roads” to facilitate safe passage for travelers and merchants while maximizing the benefits of these vital routes.

Muftah warmly welcomed all citizens arriving from occupied regions, promising to provide them with comprehensive facilities and top-tier services.

He urged the other side (Saudi-led coalition’s factions)  to open the “Al-Sharija-Karsh Road”—a vital route connecting Taiz to Aden via Lahj Governorate.
