QUDS, June 02 (YPA) – Hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Monday, under the protection of the occupation police.
According to Palestinian sources, around 600 settlers entered Al-Aqsa in groups, conducting provocative tours in its courtyards and performing Talmudic rituals under heavy police protection.
At the same time, worshippers faced restrictions at the mosque gates, and Israeli police checkpoints were set up around the Old City.
The sources added that the settlers performed Talmudic rituals and provocative dances at Bab al-Asbat, Bab al-Hutta, and King Faisal Gate, marking the so-called “Feast of Weeks.”
