Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 54,321

GAZA, May 31 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Friday that 72 martyrs and 278 wounded arrived at the Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours as a result of the continuous Israeli aggression on the Strip.

In its daily report, the ministry said, “The statistic does not include hospitals in northern Gaza due to the difficulty of reaching it,” stressing that many victims are still under the rubble and in the roads that ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

The ministry pointed out that the death toll since March 18, 2025, amounted to 4,058, in addition to 11,729 wounded.

According to the ministry, the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, has risen to  54,321 martyrs. The number of the wounded also surged to about 123,770 people.
