SANAA, May 30 (YPA) -Millions of Yemeni took to the streets in the capital, Sana’a and may other cities in solidarity with Gaza and in protest against the ongoing Israeli genocide in the besieged enclave.
The rallies were held under the slogan, “Entity could never be safe as Gaza and Al-Aqsa are under aggression.”
The protesters raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags, banners of freedom, signs expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemning the Zionist aggression and massacres against the people of Gaza.
A statement issued by organizers conveyed clear messages affirming Yemen’s continued support for the Palestinian cause.
The statement renewed pledge of loyalty to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and condemned repeated offenses by “the Jews” against the Prophet and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Protesters vowed to move beyond condemnations to mass mobilization in response to what they called ‘repeated Jewish insults’ against the Prophet Muhammad and Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to the statement
They called on the Arab and Islamic nations to take action through mass demonstrations, general mobilization, and economic boycotts, using all available means.
The statement also affirmed that “Gaza is resisting the most powerful empires of evil, backed unconditionally by the US, Western powers, and global Zionism, yet has not bow down.”
The crowds warned the peoples of the Islamic nation against standing idly by and urged them to rise in defense of their faith, the Prophet, and Islamic sanctities.
In its address to the Zionist entity, the statement affirmed: ‘It is a delusion to believe you can push us to abandon our unwavering support for Gaza.'”
The statement further condemned Israeli strikes on Yemen’s civilian and economic infrastructure.
“We say to the Zionist enemy: your aggression against our civilian and economic infrastructure only reinforces our conviction that you are the vilest and most despicable enemy,” the statement read.
Addressing Yemen’s armed forces, the statement urged: “Do not allow the Zionist enemy to feel even a moment of safety while Gaza is under siege and Al-Aqsa is under attack.”
Finally, the statement conveyed a message to the people of Gaza and Palestine, praising their patience and resilience as a righteous stance in the path of God.
The statement affirmed that “Sana’a and its allies stand with you and will not abandon you.”
