Israeli media: Trump grows weary of Netanyahu as chances of reaching a deal increase

OCCUPIED PALESTINE,  May 30 (YPA) – An investigative report by the Israeli newspapers “Haaretz” published on Friday, confirms that Israeli military operations in Gaza have endangered the lives of 54 Israeli captives while causing the deaths of at least 20 others who could have been saved through a prisoner exchange deal.

In the same context, US president Donald Trump President Donald Trump has increasingly grown frustrated with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political maneuvering over ending the war in Gaza.

According to the report, the opportunities of reaching a partial prisoner exchange deal are increasing amid these developments.

It also confirmed that tensions between the political leadership and the Chief of Staff are escalating, as it appears that a large part of the Israeli army’s activity in Gaza is merely a campaign of retaliation, nothing more.

On Thursday, media sources revealed details of a draft ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which includes a 60-day halt to hostilities, the release of 10 Israeli hostages, and the release of 125 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences, along with 1,111 detainees from Gaza who were arrested after October 7, 2023.
