Saudi Arabia pushes first southern component to confront STC in Aden

ADEN, May 29 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has pushed the first southern component to oppose the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Aden province in southern Yemen, exploiting the deterioration of living and service conditions.

Salah Al-Shanfara, head of the supreme council of the “Southern Movement,”, explained that the residents of Aden are being starved and marginalized due to the lack of services.

He accused the STC of being beholden to foreign powers and abandoning the city, which is suffering from repression and deterioration.

Al-Shanfara called for urgent action to confront the corruption and violations affecting the residents, urging his supporters to take to the streets to push for change and protect the rights of citizens.
