Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 54,249

GAZA, May 29 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Thursday that 67 martyrs, including 5 recovered bodies, and 184 wounded arrived at the Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours as a result of the continuous Israeli aggression on the Strip.

In its daily report, the ministry said, “The statistic does not include hospitals in northern Gaza due to the difficulty of reaching it,” stressing that many victims are still under the rubble and in the roads that ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

The ministry pointed out that the death toll since March 18, 2025, amounted to 3,986, in addition to 11,451 wounded.

This brings the death toll from the Israeli aggression to 54,249, with 123,492 wounded since October 7 of the year 2023.

The ministry noted that 98 martyrs were added to the cumulative statistics of the martyrs whose statements were completed and approved by the Judicial Committee.
