Al-Shaif: Number of civilian aircraft targeted by Israeli strikes rises to 8

SANAA, May 29 (YPA) – Director General of Sanaa International Airport, Khaled Al-Shaif, affirmed on Thursday that the Zionist enemy targeted Sanaa Airport, destroying the only plane of Yemenia Airlines.

He explained that the single aircraft operated three flights daily, two of which were to Riyadh to transport pilgrims, and the third to Jordan.

He noted that the number of civilian aircraft targeted by the Israeli aggression at Sanaa Airport had risen to eight.

Al-Shaif reported that 800 pilgrims can’t travel to perform the Hajj pilgrimage after the recent Israeli aggression, in addition to thousands of patients waiting to travel.
