Dozens of Zionist settlers desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 27 (YPA) – Dozens of Zionists settlers desecrated, on Tuesday, the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate under heavy protection from the Zionist enemy forces.

The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa and organized provocative tours of its courtyards.

She explained that the settlers performed Talmudic rituals and prayers in the mosque and received explanations about the alleged “Temple.”

The enemy forces tightened their restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshippers to Al-Aqsa Mosque and confiscated their ID cards at its outer gates.

Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed an unprecedented escalation on the Hebrew anniversary of the occupation of the eastern part of the Holy City, which included large incursions, the raising of occupation flags, the performance of Talmudic prayers and rituals, and provocations, in addition to organizing a provocative “flag march” in the city.

Settlers performed loud Talmudic dances and rituals, carrying Torah scrolls and wearing tallit prayer shawls and black wrappings (tefillin) in front of the Mughrabi Gate, through which the intruders enter Al-Aqsa Mosque.

More than 2,000 settlers, led by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and a number of Knesset members and rabbis, stormed Al-Aqsa, amid unprecedented provocations.

Palestinian calls intensified for mobilization, solidarity, and to confront the plans of the enemy and settler groups in Al-Aqsa Mosque, which aim to demolish the mosque and establish the alleged “Temple.”
