Leader in STC: Situation in Aden has become frightening, famine is ravaging citizens

SANAA, May 25 (YPA) – Fadl al-Jaadi, a member of the presidency of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), confirmed that the living conditions in Aden and the rest of the southern provinces have become “frightening” in all areas.

Al-Jaadi said in a post on “X” that “the currency continues to collapse against other currencies to an unprecedented level since the war began.”

He added that the prices of essential goods and foodstuffs are constantly rising, indicating that famine threatens large segments of the population without any solutions being taken by the Saudi-led coalition countries and their affiliated government.

Al-Jaadi pointed out that the situation in Aden and other regions has become frightening in various service, economic, and health sectors.

He stressed the need for the government to implement immediate solutions, addressing the pro-coalition government by saying, “The people will not show you mercy.”
