WEST BANK, May 25 (YPA) – A 16-year-old Palestinian boy was injured by live Israeli gunfire on Sunday morning during an Israeli military raid in the Old City of Nablus, according to Palestinian media sources.
The boy sustained a gunshot wound to the leg after being shot by Israeli soldiers during the raid, and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Sources reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested the young man, Mujahed Yaqub, after he was injured, while 10 others suffered from suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.
Earlier today, Israeli special forces stormed the Yasmina neighborhood in the area, followed by several army patrols that raided multiple areas and sealed off all entrances to the Old City.
The occupation soldiers also fired stun grenades and tear gas throughout the area.
