Popular massive demonstrations held across Yemen in support of Palestinians in Gaza

SANAA, May 23 (YPA) – A renewed million-person demonstration was staged on Friday in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital Sanaa, and various squares in the Yemeni provinces in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza.

The demonstration was organized under the name of “steady with Gaza and more escalation in the face of the genocidal crime and starvation”.

Millions of people denounced the escalation of its heinous crimes and genocidal war that the Zionist enemy’s committing against civilians in Gaza, in addition to the ongoing killing and destruction, starvation and thirst, in an unprecedented tragedy, amidst a shameful Arab and Islamic situation and humiliating global inaction.

The participants statement stressed that the Yemeni people will neither retreat nor remain silent, but will continue with steadfastness in support of Gaza, calling on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to take a practical act against the enemy’s crimes in Gaza.

They appreciated the armed forces’ military operations against the enemy entity, which have inflicted significant damage, calling for more escalation against this criminal, unjust, and infidel enemy, with the aim of deterring it and pushing it to halt its aggression and lift the siege on Gaza.

The rallies praised the historic steadfastness, great patience, and heroic epics being written by the people and resistance of Gaza, calling on the nation to draw inspiration from the lessons of steadfastness, patience, and giving from the people of Gaza in facing Zionist crimes.
