Meteorology warns of heat-wave targeting desert, coastal areas

SANAA, May 23 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast a heat-wave targeting the desert and coastal areas over the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin on Friday, the center stated that maximum temperatures may range g between 39 and 45 degrees Celsius in those areas.

The center warned citizens in the deserts, plains, and coastal areas of the heat wave, advising them to avoid direct sunshine during the afternoon.
