Civilian killed in Israeli airstrike on town in southern Lebanon

LEBANON, May 22 (YPA) – A person was killed on Thursday in an Israeli drone strike near the town of Rab Thalatheen in southern Lebanon, Lebanese media reported.

The Lebanese National News Agency confirmed that the area was hit by an Israeli airstrike, resulting in the death of one person and the injury of a citizen from the town of Wazzani by Israeli occupation forces’ fire.

The sources reported that “the martyr was Haidar Muhammad Faqih from the town of Rab Thalatheen.”

Since the ceasefire agreement entered into force on November 27, more than 2,780 Israeli violations have been documented, which resulted in the death of at least 200 people and the injury of 491 others.
