GAZA, May 22 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces surrounded Al-Awda Hospital in Tal al-Zaatar, north of the Gaza Strip, at dawn on Thursday, whereas 160 people, including medical personnel and wounded, were inside the hospital.
Palestinian sources quoted hospital sources as saying that occupation tanks targeted the specialized surgery department, confirming that the tanks continue to fire at its buildings.
For the second time, occupation tanks targeted the specialized surgery department at Al-Awda Hospital-Tal al-Zaatar, and continued to fire at the hospital buildings, hitting water and diesel tanks, the sources added.
There is significant damage to the hospital facilities, and occupation tanks are roaming the hospital grounds, burning the tents of the outpatient clinics and injuring some of its employees and volunteers, the sources reported.
