SANAA, May 03 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning called on citizens on Saturday to take away from the floodwaters and valleys during rainfall.
In its weather bulletin, the center warned drivers of poor visibility due to rainfall, especially on mountain roads.
The bulletin affirmed that the scattered rain on different areas of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahweet, Sanaa, Dhamar, Rayma, Ibb and Taiz, as well as Dhalea, Bayda, Lahj, Abyan and Jawf.
Moderate to strong winds, reaching a maximum speed of 27 knots in the southern Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the western Gulf of Aden, may cause high waves.
The bulletin added that clear and hot weather during the day, with temperatures ranging between 36 and 41 degrees Celsius and light to moderate winds.
