Saudi Arabia hinders Yemeni pilgrims from traveling via Sanaa Airport

SANAA, May 01 (YPA) -Yemen’s Hajj and Umrah Sector in Sanaa condemned Saudi regime’s obstruction of Yemeni pilgrims’ travel via Sana’a International Airport, despite the department’s ongoing efforts and early coordination.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Yemen’s Hajj and Umrah Sector confirmed that it has followed up all procedures related to the delegation of Yemeni pilgrims and worked to facilitate all necessary services for them.

The sector emphasized its commitment to its responsibilities in serving the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah, ensuring their needs are met throughout the Hajj journey.

“Travel via Aden airport or Al-Wadea Land Crossing is extremely difficult due to security chaos, hardships, and overcrowding at the sole land crossing,” the statement read.

The sector held the Saudi regime accountable for hindering the departure of Yemeni pilgrims through Sanaa International Airport and urged it to cooperate in facilitating their journey to perform the Hajj.
