2.5 magnitude earthquake hits Raymah

DHAMAR, April 30 (YPA) – Monitoring stations affiliated with the Center for Earthquake and Volcano Studies in Dhamar recorded a mild earthquake in Raymah governorate on Wednesday.

The head of the center, Engineer Mohammed Hussein Al-Houthi, stated that the earthquake measured 2.5 on the Richter scale and occurred at 11:46 a.m., 17 km north of Al-Salfiah district, according to what was reported by “26 September Net.”

He pointed out that the earthquake did not cause any material or human damage, while monitoring teams continue to monitor seismic activity in the area.
