ISIS cells launch double attack on two military points in northeastern Syria

SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – The terrorist organization ISIS launched two armed attacks against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeastern Syria on Wednesday.

The Syrian Observatory said that ISIS cells targeted two military points in the town of Gharanij in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor with an RPG shell, without recording any casualties.

The Observatory explained that ISIS members were able to escape after carrying out the attack.

According to the Syrian Observatory’s statistics, the number of ISIS attacks in the Syrian Badia since the beginning of this year has reached 70 operations, resulting in the deaths of 28 people, including 18 members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the military formations working with them, five ISIS members, and five civilians.
