SANAA, April 29 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecast on Tuesday scattered showers in various Yemeni areas.
In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the rains would fall on parts of Dhamar, Rayma, Mahweet, Hajjah, Ibb, Amran, and western Sanaa, as well as to Taiz, Dhalea, and the west of Bayda, Saada and Jawf.
It pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas would be clear to partly cloudy, with the possibility of light rain falling on parts of the Socotra Archipelago and the eastern coasts.
The center noted that the winds would be moderate to strong, reaching a maximum speed of 30 knots in the southern Red Sea, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the western Gulf of Aden, causing high waves.
According to the center, the weather in the desert areas would be clear and warm during the day, with temperatures ranging between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius and the light to moderate winds.
It called on motorists to drive carefully as a result of poor visibility and low clouds and rainfall, especially on mountain roads.
