WEST BANK, April 29 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continue their detentions and field investigations in the West Bank at an escalating pace.
According to Palestinian sources, since yesterday evening and until Tuesday morning, the occupation forces have detained at least 22 Palestinians from the West Bank.
Among those detainees are four women, three of whom were later released, in addition to a journalist and former prisoners.
In addition, the occupation has continued its aggression against the Jenin and Tulkarm governorates for nearly 100 days, accompanied by ongoing detentions and field investigations.
Since the beginning of the invasion, the number of detentions in Jenin and its camp has reached more than 600, while in Tulkarm and its two camps reached approximately 260.
It is noteworthy that the occupation has adopted a series of policies in various areas, the most prominent of which are systematic field investigations that have targeted dozens of families, in addition to the detention of citizens as hostages, the conversion of homes into military points, and the deliberate destruction of infrastructure.
