Israeli occupation vows to expand military operations if negotiations fail

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 27 (YPA) –  Israeli occupation army has vowed to expand its military operations if no progress is made in negotiations within the next two weeks, according to Israel Hayom, citing a high-ranking Israeli source quoted by on Sunday.

The occupation army also signaled the possibility of a large-scale mobilization of Israeli reserve forces.

In a statement issued Saturday evening, the occupation army claimed to have killed 400 resistance fighters and targeted 120 additional sites in Gaza over the past 48 hours, including a large weapons depot in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.

“We are preparing for broader maneuvers, and even for a new reserve mobilization,” the statement added. Plans reportedly include enforcing troop positions, expanding ground operations, and intensifying airstrikes. A decision regarding further reserve mobilization is expected soon.

The occupation  army also confirmed that approximately 1,800 targets have been struck in Gaza since the beginning of the current military campaign, including 120 in the past 24 hours alone.
