Young man killed due to armed clashes in Shabwa

SHABWA, April 24 (YPA) – A young man was killed, on Thursday, following armed clashes in the middle of Haban Market in Shabwa governorate, which is under the control of the Emirati factions, southeast of Yemen.

Local sources in the governorate reported that the clashes broke out between tribal gunmen in the middle of Huda Market, the center of Haban district, which led to the death of the young man “Al-Khader” Halba bin Laqrn Al-Qamishi, when he was shot by one of the gunmen due to a tribal revenge between his tribe and another in the region.

Shabwa districts are witnessing unprecedented security chaos due to the spread of UAE-funded factions that are working to fuel conflicts between tribesmen amid the absence of state authorities since 2016.
