MARIB, April 24 (YPA) – Tens of employees and workers of the Safer Oil Company, controlled by the Islah Party in Marib, have threatened to go on strike starting next Friday in protest of their low salaries.
In a protest rally, They called on the company to link salaries to a fixed foreign exchange rate and find urgent solutions to the company’s retiree crisis.
The company’s employees threatened to stop work if their demands were not met, due to the deteriorating living conditions.
