ADEN, April 20 (YPA) – Southern military expert Khaled Al-Nasi described President of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, as a failure due to his inability to form effective partnerships, noting that he is leading the southern provinces into endless conflict.
Al-Nasi emphasized that the STC is fueling internal hostilities and ignoring important issues, turning the south and east into an arena of conflict.
In a post on his account on “X,” he explained that the STC creates enmities with the people of Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout, while ignoring Mahra and Hadramout Valley.
Al-Nasi added that the STC’s mistakes are being exploited by its enemies, leaving it besieged by false promises and corruption without any notable achievements.
He pointed out that the STC’s battle has become limited to southerners, while its partners, the Islah Party and the General People’s Congress, are left to plunder resources.
Al-Nasi considered the restoration of the south under Al-Zubaidi’s leadership a great illusion, emphasizing that the provinces have become an arena of constant regional conflict under the STC’s leadership.
