Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi: Yemen is in heart of confrontation, and US escalation is failure

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi emphasized that Gaza Strip is suffering a humanitarian catastrophe due to the ongoing Israeli aggression, with most of its residents displaced.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik also noted, in a televised speech this evening on the developments of the Zionist aggression on Gaza and the US aggression against Yemen, that Israel is committing crimes of genocide against the Palestinians, targeting health infrastructure, including the Baptist Hospital.

He considered the attempt to occupy the city of Rafah a threat to Egyptian security and a violation of the Israeli-Egyptian agreement.

Regarding prisoner negotiations, he emphasized that the Israeli occupation and the Americans are trying to blackmail the Palestinians and not abide by previous agreements.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik asserted that Hamas’s demands represent the minimum humanitarian demands. He indicated the suffering of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons, emphasizing that their cause cannot be ignored.

Lebanon is in target range

Regarding the Lebanese front, Sayyed Abdul-Malik pointed out that Israeli forces continue to violate the Lebanon Agreement with American support, pointing to the daily attacks on Lebanese territory.

He believed that the occupation’s ambitions in Lebanon were clear, stressing that if the enemy had been able to carry out a comprehensive attack on Lebanon, he would not have hesitated to completely invade it.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik explained that the enemy seeks to plunder the waters of the Litani River and continues to occupy some sites inside Lebanon, targeting even temporary rooms of residents, which hinders the return of the displaced to their homes.

He added that the Lebanese resistance has achieved unprecedented achievements, as Hezbollah has made great sacrifices to protect Lebanon and the dignity of its people.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik stressed that the option of resistance is not a luxury but a national necessity, and abandoning it constitutes a great danger to the freedom and independence of Lebanon.

Syria and Palestine at the heart of the confrontation

Regarding developments in Syria, Sayyed Abdul-Malik stated that Israel continues its violations in Syrian territory by establishing nine military bases in the south as part of its aggressive regional project.

He stressed that the situation in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria highlights the need for the Arab peoples to possess means of deterrence and protection, and he considered disarming the resistance illogical, affirming that the Palestinian people have the right to possess weapons to defend their land.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik criticized the positions of some Arab regimes calling for the disarmament of the resistance, considering that they serve Israel’s interests and prevent peoples from their right to defense.

A failed US escalation

Regarding the Yemeni issue, Al-Houthi stated that the Yemeni position is comprehensive, popular, official, and military and that the Yemeni front is influential and supports the Palestinian resistance.

He stated that the US aggression against Yemen is escalating, with the United States carrying out more than 220 airstrikes this week and 900 last month using F-18 aircraft.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi explained that the enemy failed to secure Israeli ships in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and the Gulf of Aden, and the waters are still completely closed to Israeli ships.

Yemen leads the battle

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi revealed that the Yemeni armed forces carried out 78 military operations this month by using 171 missiles and drones, some of which targeted occupied Jaffa and Ashkelon, coinciding with the Jewish “Passover” holiday.

Al-Houthi explained that Yemen carried out 33 operations against the US aircraft carrier and its accompanying naval vessels, successfully shooting down 19 MQ-9 drones, in addition to conducting 11 interception operations against US aircraft in the Red Sea. He confirmed that the Truman aircraft carrier has become purely defensive, prompting the Americans to deploy another aircraft carrier to support the operations.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik concluded his speech by emphasizing that “the Yemeni position is firm and effective and will not be affected by all this aggression,” stressing Yemen’s continued support for the Palestinian resistance until victory is achieved.
