Meeting in Sanaa discusses security situation

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Deputy Interior Minister, Maj. Gen. Abdul Majeed Al-Mortada, stressed the importance of raising the level of vigilance and security awareness to confront any hostile attempts targeting the country’s security.

This came during his chairmanship of a meeting held on Wednesday to discuss the security situation in light of the current conditions.

Al-Mortada called on the high level of readiness to implement any directives by the leadership, whether within the framework of security work or in the arenas of military confrontation.

He noted the necessity of continuing general mobilization activities and intensifying efforts to maintain security.

For his part, the Deputy Minister of Interior, Maj. Gen. Ali Hussein al-Houthi, affirmed that all enemy plans to target security and the internal front would be thwarted through the efforts of the security units and the cooperation of the loyal citizens of the Yemeni people.
