QUDS, April 16 (YPA) -Hundreds of Zionist settlers on Wednesday stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from Israeli occupation police, on the fourth day of the Jewish Passover holiday.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the settlers entered Al-Aqsa’s courtyards in successive groups from the Al-Maghariba Gate, carried out provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals.
The occupation police imposed strict security measures, turning the mosque and its surroundings into a military zone.
They prevented many Palestinian worshippers from entering and confiscated their ID cards at the outer gates.
On Tuesday, Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed a large-scale storming involving more than 1,220 settlers, during which rituals were also performed.
The extremist group “Temple Mount is in Our Hands” launched promotional campaigns encouraging settlers to storm Al-Aqsa, offering discounted transportation and free guided tours as part of what they called “central storming days” during the Passover period.
