Far-right Israeli minister storms Hebron’s Ibrahimi Mosque

WEST BANK, April 16 (YPA) –  Far-right Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has led another provocative incursion into Hebron’s Ibrahimi Mosque on Wednesday, accompanied by a group of Israeli settlers under heavy security.

The extremist Ben Gvir, along with dozens of settlers, performed Talmudic dances in the courtyards of the mosque.

This comes in conjunction with the occupation authorities’ decision to close the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque to Muslim worshippers from yesterday until Wednesday evening, on the occasion of the Passover holiday, while opening it completely to settlers.

The occupation closes the Al-Ibrahimi Mosque 10 days each year under the pretext of Jewish holidays, denying Palestinian worshippers their right to access, as part of the ongoing attempts to impose a temporal and spatial division of the holy site.
