STC elements kidnap education advisor in Aden

ADEN, April 13 (YPA) – Pro-UAE Transitional Council elements kidnapped the advisor to the Education Office in the coalition-controlled city of Aden and took him to an unknown location.

Identical human rights sources reported that unknown masked elements, wearing military uniforms and driving a car, kidnapped the advisor to the Education Office in Aden, Dr. Omar Ahmed Qaid, while he was in front of his home in the Inmaa City in the Buraiqa area.

The reasons for the kidnapping are unknown, without knowing who kidnapped him.

They explained that the gunmen looted some of Dr. Qaid’s personal belongings, indicating that his family filed a report with the Kabota police upon the incident, but no significant measures were taken regarding the kidnapping.

The sources reported that the gunmen released the education advisor in Aden hours after his kidnapping, without revealing the identity of the party behind the incident or the motives for the kidnapping.
