US conducts series of airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, nearby regions

SANAA, April 11 (YPA) -American warplanes launched a series of airstrikes early Friday morning, targeting residential and agricultural areas in Yemen’s capital and Sana’a Governorate.

According to security sources, the US aggression targeted Bani Hushaysh district with five consecutive airstrikes, causing significant material damage to public and private property.

The aggression also targeted the Jabal Nuqum area, east of the capital, with a heavy airstrike.

Moreover, the US aggression conducted three strikes on the Faj Attan area in the Moeen District, southwest of Sanaa.

The US aggression also targeted a farm in the Al-Hawari area of the Hamdan District with two airstrikes, resulting in extensive damage to agricultural lands and crops, that are a source of livelihood for many families.

This US aerial aggression comes in the context of an intensive military escalation in Sana’a and several Yemeni governorates, where US aircraft deliberately target residential areas and civilian facilities, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
