Death toll of Zionist aggression on Gaza rises to 1522 since March 18

GAZA, April 10 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, on Thursday, that the death toll of Palestinian martyrs since the Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Strip on March 18 has risen to 1,522, while the number of injured has exceeded 3,834.

The Ministry stated, in a press statement, that 40 martyrs and 146 injured were transferred to hospitals in the Strip during the past 24 hours alone, in light of the continued intensive Israeli raids and shelling on various areas.

The Ministry indicated that an unspecified number of victims are still unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews under the rubble or in areas that are difficult to reach due to the extensive destruction and dangerous field conditions.

In the same context, the Ministry of Health explained that the total death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has so far reached 50,886 martyrs and more than 115,875 injured, amid a worsening humanitarian disaster and a severe shortage of medical and humanitarian supplies.

Gaza has been witnessing an unprecedented escalation by the occupation forces for more than a year and six months, which has caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure and a severe humanitarian crisis, amid international warnings of the danger of famine and the spread of epidemics.
