Meteorology warns of rising temperatures to desert areas

SAANA, April 09 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning warned of sunny and hot weather in desert areas on Wednesday.

The center reported in its weather forecast that temperatures in the Tihama Plain would range between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius, with light to moderate winds.

It indicated that the weather in the mountainous highlands might be clear and relatively cool during the night and early morning, with cumulus clouds forming over parts of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb, and Taiz.

The center warned also seagoers and fishermen in the southern Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the western Gulf of Aden of rough seas, advising citizens to avoid direct sunshine.
