SANAA, April 06 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning renewed its warnings on Sunday to citizens in areas expected to get rainfall.
In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the weather would be clear to partly cloudy during the day with the possibility of scattered showers in parts of the western and northwestern highlands in the provinces of Sanaa, Amran, Dhamar, Hajjah, Mahweet, Saada and Rayma.
The center warned fishermen and seafarers south of the west coast, the Bab al-Mandab entrance, and the western Gulf of Aden of rough seas and high waves.
It also warned citizens in the Tihama Plain and desert areas of the hot weather, avoiding direct sunshine.
The center stated that active to strong winds would hit the southwest coast, the Bab al-Mandab entrance, and the Gulf of Aden, reaching maximum speeds of 35 knots, causing sea disturbances and high waves.
According to the center, the weather in the desert areas would be clear and hot during the day, with maximum temperatures ranging between 34 and 39 degrees Celsius.
