Washington incurs military losses in Yemen amounting to about one billion dollars in less than month

SANAA, April 5 (YPA) – CNN revealed that the US military campaign against Sana’a cost about $1 billion in less than three weeks, despite the limited impact of the attacks on Yemen’s capabilities.

CNN quoted informed sources as saying that the US military campaign witnessed hundreds of millions of dollars spent on advanced munitions and weapons, including Joint Strike Fighter (JASSM) long-range cruise missiles, Joint Strike Weapons (JSOW) guided bombs, and Tomahawk missiles.

The network reported that B-2 bombers stationed at Diego Garcia Air Base are participating in the attacks, in addition to sending more aircraft carriers, fighter jets, and air defense systems to the US Central Command area.

She indicated that the cost of the operations may require additional funding requests from Congress, a matter facing widespread criticism from both the Republican and Democratic parties.

The United States has renewed its aggression against Sana’a since mid-March, resulting in dozens of civilian casualties, in a desperate attempt to force Sana’a to stop its support for Gaza.
