Sayyed Al-Houthi reveals why Washington dispatched second aircraft carrier to region

SANAA, Mar. 22 (YPA) – The leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, stated that the United States’ decision to send an alternative aircraft carrier reflects a major failure suffered by Washington in the context of its successive defeats against Yemen.

In his speech this evening, Saturday, Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that Yemen succeeded in neutralizing and removing the aircraft carrier “Truman” through repeated attacks, forcing the American side to announce the arrival of a replacement aircraft carrier, which al-Houthi considered a clear admission of failure and defeat.

Sayyed Al-Houthi emphasized that the United States relies on aircraft carriers to intimidate others, but when confronted with Yemen, they have become a burden.

He noted that the Americans would have been content with one aircraft carrier if not for this failure, which led them to pursue acquiring more.
