Zionist officer admits to using Palestinians as human shields in Gaza

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 13 (YPA) – Confessions from Israeli officers and soldiers who participated in the war on Gaza continue to expose horrific violations and abuses against Palestinian civilians.

According to an article published by Haaretz, an Israeli officer who served in Gaza admitted that the occupation army used Palestinians as human shields.

The newspaper reported that an investigative committee created scapegoats to claim it had investigated the use of Palestinians as human shields in Gaza.

This is not the first time it has been revealed that Palestinians were used as human shields during the war on Gaza.

Earlier, an investigation conducted by Haaretz revealed that the Israeli army systematically used Palestinians as human shields while clearing tunnels and buildings in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli newspaper stated that this act occurred with the knowledge of senior military officers, including the Chief of Staff, Herzi Halevi.

According to the investigation, Israeli soldiers said that their lives were more important than the lives of Palestinians, and it was better to use them as human shields.

The investigation revealed that in some cases, soldiers used children and elderly Palestinians as human shields in Gaza.
