Young man ran over by vehicle of Al-Zubaidi convoy in Lahj

LAHJ, March 09 (YPA) – A young man from Al-Subaiha tribe was run over while the convoy of the head of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, was passing through the Sabr area in Lahj governorate.

Local sources reported that the young man, Hamada Al-Subaihi, was run over by one of the vehicles accompanying Al-Zubaidi’s convoy, and was transferred by citizens to the intensive care unit at Ibn Khaldoun Hospital.

The sources explained that the young man has been in the hospital in critical condition since last Tuesday, without the leadership of the Transitional Council taking any initiative to check on the victim and compensate for the damage he suffered as a result of being run over by Al-Zubaidi’s convoy.

The incident sparked a wave of resentment among the residents, amid questions about the absence of any official position from the concerned authorities regarding the incident, indicating that the young man works for a daily wage and supports his poor family.
