Sanaa condemns Zionist violation of ceasefire agreement

SANAA, March 04(YPA) – The Foreign Ministry based in Sanaa has condemned what it described as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement by the Zionist entity, calling it a direct breach of international humanitarian law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention.

In a statement, the ministry expressed grave concern over the actions of the Zionist entity, warning that this destruction of the ceasefire agreement could lead to a resumption of aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Yemeni Foreign Minister emphasized that Yemen would resume its operations in support of the Palestinian resistance should the ceasefire agreement be violated further.

“The enemy’s destruction of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza will lead to Yemen resuming its operations in support of the resistance in Gaza,” it stated.

The Ministry also called on the Arab world to take decisive action at the upcoming emergency Arab summit in Cairo, urging a strong Arab stance in support of Palestinian rights and opposition to the ongoing injustice.

“We call on the emergency Arab summit, which will convene tomorrow in Cairo, to adopt a strong Arab stance that supports the rights of the Palestinians and stands up for their injustice,” the statement read.

In addition, the Ministry called on the international community to pressure the occupying Zionist entity to abide by the ceasefire agreement and allow the unconditional entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

“We call for forcing the Zionist entity to move to the second phase of the agreement and allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza without conditions,” it said.
