“Israel” blocks entry of aid into Gaza Strip

GAZA, March 02 (YPA) -The Israeli government has decided to suspend the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and close the crossings with the region until further notice, Israeli Channel 14 reported.

According to the Channel 14, the decision was made during an Israeli Cabinet meeting held on Saturday evening, led by Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s office justified the measure by claiming that the Hamas Movement had so far refused to accept a temporary ceasefire extension under a proposal by US president Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff.

This move comes in the wake of Israel’s refusal to adhere to the terms of a ceasefire agreement, coinciding with the conclusion of the first phase of the ceasefire, which ended last night.
