Iran puts anti-ship attack craft into service

TEHRAN, Mar. 01 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy put on Saturday a fast attack craft into service, which has a speed of 110 knots and is capable of launching anti-ship cruise missiles.

Mehr News Agency reported that the unveiling of the fast attack craft came on the sidelines of the ceremony of joining the ship of the Martyr Rais Ali Delvari to the IRGC Navy in the Persian Gulf.

The IRGC consists of almost 125,000 soldiers including soldiers on land (Ground Forces), in space (Aerospace Force) and in the navy, and it currently aims to develop its naval forces to control the Persian Gulf.

The Revolutionary Guard is the main force also in maintaining national security and responsible for internal security and border security.
