Sanaa reveals new initiative to open Hodeida roads

HODEIDA, Feb. 27 (YPA) – A new initiative to open humanitarian roads was carried out on Thursday in Hodeida province to alleviate the suffering of citizens.

The announcement of this initiative came during a meeting in Hodeida, which included the head of the Sanaa Redeployment Team, Maj. Gen. Ali Al-Moshki, with the Acting Head of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeida Agreement, Mari Yamashita.

In the meeting, Major General Al-Moshki stressed the keenness of the Sanaa Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council to alleviate the suffering of the people in general.

He pointed out that the Sanaa government presented initiatives to open humanitarian roads and corridors, which are important and necessary steps to alleviate the suffering of the Yemenis.

Al-Moshki indicated that the local authorities in Hodeida have worked during the past few days to open Al-Mahjar crossings, to facilitate the movements and travel of citizens back.
