SANAA, Feb. 24 (YPA) – Member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, Hussein Al-Ezzi, who submitted on Monday a proposal to end the crisis of the local currency collapse in the southern provinces of Yemen.
“I propose re-assigning the task of supervising the bank and oil and gas sales to the capital, Sanaa, considering that this is the natural and legal situation,” Al-Ezzi said in a post on X.
He said, addressing the coalition-backed Aden government: “You have experienced how Sanaa used to send you salaries on the 29th of every month, even during the war and your applause for its bombing.”
Al-Ezzi’s statements came in light of the economic disaster experienced by the people of Aden and the southern and eastern provinces of Yemen, due to the collapse of the local currency and the deterioration of services with suspending the salary payments.
