MAHRA, Feb. 22 (YPA) – Anti-foreign military presence and anti-Saudi-led coalition posters appeared, on Saturday in some streets and neighborhoods of Al-Ghaydah, the capital city of Mahra Governorate in eastern Yemen.
The posters spread as part of local protests rejecting the foreign presence, which threatens the security and stability of Mahra.
This comes after Saudi Arabia brought the extremist Salafist faction ” Dera Al-Watan ” factions to the Qishn camp in early February.
This campaign reflects the growing public discontent toward the coalition and foreign presence in the province, amid widespread local demands to end all forms of foreign military presence.
The people of Al-Mahra also rejected external guardianship.
