US freezes funds allocated to Palestinian Authority

SANAA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – The US administration announced, on Wednesday evening, the suspension of all funding allocated to the Palestinian Authority’s apparatuses.

Hebrew sources said that the Trump administration has stopped funding the Palestinian Authority’s security forces, as part of measures seeking to freeze the international aid that it provides.

Palestinian Authority officials told The Washington Post that the freeze harms the capabilities of forces in the field, and affects training programs and Palestinian security force centers.
